JOB TITLE: Production Technician

Reports to: Production Manager

General Description: Under close supervision, performs a variety of tasks associated with the filling, labeling, inspecting and packaging of product.

Typical Duties include but no limited to the following.

  1. Handle, lift or transport materials used in production areas.
  2. Stop the production line if there are conditions that may lead to a food safety occurrence. Notify the Production Manager before resuming production.
  3. Pre and Post Operational inspections at needed locations.
  4. Ensure that primary and secondary container codes meets specifications as described in the OP’s document.
  5. Empty waste product into designated barrels.
  6. Insure that product is in correct position on conveyor belt.
  7. Stop machine and report malfunction to operator.
  8. Work in all areas of the plant.
  9. Comply with safety regulations.
  10. Maintain clean and safe work area.
  11. Cross train in other production areas as directed.




JOB TITLE: Cook Room Technician

Reports to: Cook Room Manager

General Description: Under close supervision, performs a variety of tasks associated with the blending of approved ingredients, proper cooking process and holding.

Typical Duties include but no limited to the following.

  1. Weigh and mix ingredients to meet daily production batches.
  2. Stop production if there are conditions that may lead to a food safety occurrence. Notify the Cook Room Manager before resuming production.
  3. Inspect all ingredients for quality and safety before use. Alert Cook Room Manager of any issues.
  4. Lift and dump up to 100 lb of ingredients into cooking and mixing tanks daily.
  5. Follow formula according to prescribed methods and standards.
  6. Inspect product for quality and safety.
  7. Operate transfer pump and metering devices to prescribed methods and standards.
  8. Continually monitor operation of machines.
  9. Handle, lift or transport materials used in production areas.
  10. Perform minor repairs to machinery and operating adjustments.
  11. Clean machinery and system daily.
  12. Maintain documentation for production record daily.
  13. Pre and post operational inspections.
  14. Maintain integrity of reworked products.
  15. Handle, lift or transport materials used in production area.
  16. Operate pallet jack.
  17. Maintain clean and safe work area.
  18. Comply with safety regulations.
  19. Cross-train in other production areas as directed.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.




JOB TITLE: Maintenance Worker

Reports to: Plant Manager

General Description:Assist with daily maintenance of building and plant equipment.

Typical Duties include but no limited to the following.

1.Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed or required.

2.Assist with line operations as needed.

3.Stop the production line if there are conditions that may lead to a food safety occurrence. Notify the Plant Manager and Production Manager before resuming production.

4.Perform and document preventative maintenance activities.

5.Monitor boiler functions.

6.Perform needed maintenance on building interior and exterior as needed.

7.Comply with safety regulations.

8.Maintain shop area in a neat and orderly fashion.

9.Operate a forklift, scissor lift and pallet jack.
